The factory was established in 1986 to manufacture machinery parts, and in 1996, it began producing equipment components for the drilling industry. Production of the 850/50 twin-cylinder mud pump commenced in 2003, followed by the gradual addition of models such as the 1200/7B and 850/20. In 2009, the factory expanded its scale by building a new facility to manufacture water well drill pipes; that same year, production of the "Water Source 2000" (Shuiyuan 2000) drilling rig began. Operations have since evolved to include the production of triplex pumps and trailer-mounted drilling rigs.
